How To Install the Outlook Web Extension/Plug-In

Learn how to find and download the correct HubSpot Sales Web add-in to ensure that your important email conversations are seamlessly logged in HubSpot.

Installing the Plug-in

Follow these links to download and set up the appropriate HubSpot Sales web add-in: 

      General guidelines: 

      Due to significant updates introduced by Microsoft with the new Outlook for Windows, HubSpot has discontinued support for the HubSpot Sales Outlook desktop add-in. If you had this add-in installed during the initial implementation of HubSpot, it is essential to remove it. We highly recommend switching to the HubSpot Sales web add-in for optimal performance and compatibility.

      • Microsoft Outlook installed from the Microsoft Store is not compatible with the HubSpot Sales Office 365 add-in. Check your Outlook version to ensure it is.
      • The HubSpot Sales Office 365 add-in can only be installed on an Office 365 hosted email account (Office 365 Business Premium, Office 365 Business Essentials, or Office 365 Personal). If your inbox is hosted with a different email provider, you cannot install the Office 365 add-in, even if you are using Outlook to access that email provider. If you don't have an Office 365 account but use Outlook for Desktop on Windows, install the HubSpot Sales Outlook desktop add-in instead.
      • Do not install both the HubSpot Sales Office 365 add-in and the HubSpot Sales Outlook desktop add-in on the same device. These add-ins will conflict.

      Steps to remove the Desk Top Add In:

      • In Windows, click the Start menu.
      • Search for Uninstall a program or Add and remove programs.
      • Search for and select HubSpot Sales for Outlook.
